Google launched its Chinese New Year 2013 Snake Doodle on February 10, 2013. It was a separate, time-limited holiday adaptation rather than the same product as Google's current configurable browser Snake game. The Doodle used collectible items and special effects within a festive Year of the Snake presentation.
